The Healing Power of Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathy is a distinct type of medicine that integrates ancient healing traditions with the latest scientific advances and research.

Our doctors employ unique, natural remedies and protocols for each patient: these may include a combination of herbal, injections therapies, supplements and IV nutrients, and diet and lifestyle changes to support your body’s natural healing power.

Naturopathic methods often have few side effects while addressing the root causes of your health challenges, so you don’t have to remain on protocols long term.

Our goal is to usher you into a lifestyle of optimum health—with check-ups as needed!

Some of the common exams performed by our doctors include sports physicals, screening exams, wellness exams, well child checkups, and Department of Transportation CDL examinations.

IV nutrient therapy optimizes your body’s ability to self-heal, using nutrients it would not otherwise be able to obtain through traditional oral supplementation or even diet changes.

With IV nutrient treatments, large doses of vitamins and minerals are administered directly into the blood stream, bypassing the digestive system—the most efficient way for tissues to absorb what they need to heal.

Ozone Injection Therapy

Canby Clinic is excited to offer Ozone injection therapies, which utilizes a combination of ozone (O3) and oxygen (O2) to treat and even cure chronic pain and joint injuries.

The use of ozone increases circulation and blood flow, while at the same time decreasing both pain and inflammation. Ozone injection therapy regenerates damaged tissue—and complete healing is possible without surgery.

After Ozone injection therapy is performed, a reduction in pain and an increase in range of motion are often immediately experienced. After-care is minimal and level of activity does not need to be restricted—no ice or bed rest necessary. Although response to treatment varies person to person, most people only need 3-5 treatments for a true cure.

Trigger Point Injection Therapy

Many people who have been in car accidents or have suffered from long-term muscle pain find Trigger Point Injection Therapy very effective.

Trigger points form only in muscles—especially those in the arms, legs, lower back and neck—and are caused by a number of factors, including: poor circulation, poor posture, overuse, accident trauma, pinched nerves and other health issues.

Trigger Point Injection Therapy takes approximately 30 minutes. A solution of saline and procaine (anesthetic) is injected into the tight muscle and the knot is released, relieving pain. This relaxes the muscle.

Intramascular Injection Therapy

Intramuscular injections deliver medicine and nutrients deep into muscles. Some of the common methods of IM Therapy are vaccinations, B12, HCG and MIC.

Our physicians are licensed and trained in minor surgery. They can remove ear wax and treat and remove in-grown toenails, warts, and simple cysts.  They can also suture deep cuts and remove moles and skin lesions for biopsy—an increasingly important key to staying well.

Our physicians are licensed and trained to treat muscle spasms and align the spine, neck, hips, and other joints that commonly cause chronic pain and discomfort.
